Huzhou is located in the north part of Zhejiang at the south bank of Taihu Lake which is the third largest fresh-water lake in China. The city is 150km (120km after the highway links up) away from Shanghai to the east, 86km away from Hangzhou to the south, 110km away from Wuxi and 90km away from Suzhou to the north, 220kin awayfrom Nanjing to the northwest. It is in the central part of the Yangtze River Delta and Shanghai Economic Circle.
