Huzhou faces Taihu to the north and leans against Tian Mu Mountains to the south. Surrounded by green mountains and fresh water, Huzhou is an ideal place to live. Among the Taihu Area, it is the only city that gets her name after Taihu. It is well-known as "Silk City, Fish & Rice Land and Culture Center" by history. In the year of 2000, Huzhou was ranked as "World's Most Livable City" by the United Nation.
